Carlos Arias, Director, Principal
A seasoned business manager, engineer, and consultant, Carlos has led the Bainbridge organization to continued growth and success since 2001. Carlos supports client initiatives through strategic leadership and business development, and specializes in supply chain optimization, process reengineering, technology analysis and implementation, and mergers and acquisitions. He has spearheaded the Bainbridge Internal Excellence Initiative which has taken client satisfaction and results to new levels of performance in the investment banking and consulting markets.

Carlos attained a Master of Business Administration from Columbia University and dual Bachelors of Science degrees, in Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering from Lehigh University.

Nick Chini, Managing Principal
As a senior management consultant and investment banker, Nick has over seventeen years of experience conducting strategic management consulting and M&A advisory. Over ten years with Bainbridge, Nick has analyzed more than 500 product and service companies, covering 200 markets for strategic planning, competitor and market analysis, operations improvement, divestitures, acquisitions, recapitalization, and financial valuation. Nick's client list spans a variety of industries and includes top Fortune 500 corporations and private equity groups.

Nick holds a Master of Business Administration from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Lehigh University.

Ken Wagner, Ph.D., Vice President, Managing Director
Dr. Wagner is a seasoned corporate consultant in the area of strategy formulation with expertise in research methodology and design. He works with project teams to ensure that projects are designed for data integrity and sufficiency and that analysis is meaningful and actionable. He has conducted extensive analysis of public, private, and non-profit organizations across the globe for industries including healthcare, education, automotive, manufacturing, and financial services.

Dr. Wagner is a former Professor of Sociology from Hamilton College having lectured on topics including the research process for doctoral students and advanced study. He has authored books and articles on the process of research and effective writing and has had extensive experience mentoring and teaching undergraduates.

Dr. Wagner attained his Ph.D. and Master of Arts in Sociology from the University of Pittsburgh and his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Wittenberg College.

Loren Simon, Director
Loren brings valuable experience to Bainbridge, having most recently served 10 years as Project Manager at Mars & Co Consulting. During his tenure at Mars, Loren's broad domestic and international experience included working with Fortune 50 clients in the US, Latin American, China, and Europe across a wide variety of industries including packaged goods, apparel, energy, and financial services. As a Project Manager, Loren led consultant and multi-functional client teams in developing and implementing high-impact strategies in operational improvement, channel strategy, market entry, pricing and portfolio optimization.

Loren earned his MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He attained his Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his Bachelor of Science in Nuclear Engineering from Purdue University.

Kimberly Walzer, Director
Ms. Walzer has deep expertise in business-to-business marketing and business development. She has assisted Fortune 500 and start-up companies with strategies for market entry, business launch, pricing, market sizing, sales effectiveness and corporate and business unit level growth. Prior to joining Bainbridge, Ms. Walzer served 6 years with A.T. Kearney, a top five consultancy.

Kim holds an MBA from the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from University of California, San Diego.

David Lissek, Director
Prior to joining Bainbridge, Mr. Lissek served as a Partner at Gateway Asset Management, an investment real estate and private equity firm. He has over fifteen years of institutional investment management experience, and previously held client advisory, relationship management and capital acquisition roles for a number of leading U.S. institutional investment managers. David was a Principal at Barclays Global Investors, where he launched multi-strategy institutional hedge funds and placed traditional long-only portfolio strategies with State, County, Corporate, Foundation/Endowment and Taft-Hartley pension plans. Mr. Lissek was a Senior Vice President at Freeman Associates Investment Management where he was responsible for the development and implementation of marketing & client service programs targeting capital acquisition for U.S. institutional plan sponsors.

David received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Canisius College in 1988 and is a Chartered Financial Analyst Level II candidate.

Earl Scudder, J.D, M&A Specialist
Earl has completed over 300 acquisitions, divestitures, IPO's and recapitalizations serving as negotiations expert, legal counsel and business advisor. Earl has over 35 years of experience in small- to mid-cap divestitures including work for Cano Petroleum and the energy and transportation sector. Earl is the lead M&A specialist at Scudder Law Firm, a world- class M&A-oriented team. A well-respected corporate attorney who advises to companies on matters of mergers and acquisitions, stock offerings, recapitalizations and refinancings, partnerships, business strategy and business law, Earl brings deal structure and financial strategy expertise to Bainbridge.

Earl has served on numerous boards of directors of private sector businesses, and is currently on the board of several publicly traded corporations. Earl has been an instructor of Corporate Finance at Drake University and a lecturer on Legal Writing at the University of Nebraska College of Law. Earl received the 1993 Distinguished Service Award from the University of Nebraska Alumni Association.

An accomplished attorney and negotiator, Earl holds the Jurist Doctorate Degree from the University of Nebraska Law School.
